It is an event hosted by New Life Church Lincoln which is going to be Held at Sincil Bank Stadium (home of Lincoln city football team) and we have been asked to attend and perform centre stage infront of 6000+ people!
Awesome, what is it in aid of?
The main aim of the bank is to bring people together in one place to pass on the message of new life church and christianity.
But im not religious?
No need to worry about that, its an event for everyone with the overall theme of unity in the community, and celebrating te energy of the young people in the City of Lincoln.
What are Lincs Parkour doing there?
We are planning to perform a show for 15 whole minutes along the lines of the energise shows. This means a choreographed routine learnt at free sessions held at North Kesteven sports centre, a race event, and tricking display section.
How can I help?
Well firstly we need practitioners to come together in one place to work out a routine for the show, this means popping your full name down in the comments section and we will find you on facebook and add you to the hidden facebook group where we can discuss the routine and the overall event.
Secondly we would be looking to do some fund raising, so that we can get some t-shirts made for the event, and a run video over the coming month so if anyone has any ideas to offer on that side please let us know in the comments below or on the events page.
Is that all?
For now yes, but we will keep developing ideas for the show and over time we should be able to start getting more specific information about what we are doing out to the wider community soon.
